Who is Stuart Gibbs?

Born in 1969, Stuart Gibbs is an American author of twenty-two books with a total of five series: Moon Base Alpha series, Spy School series, FunJungle series, Last Musketeer series, and Charlie Thorne series. All books for varying ages from kids to teenagers. He received the New York Times Bestselling award for three of his series.

In addition, he is an environmentalists, conspicuously, in his books, especially, the FunJungle series, you can notice how the events corresponds to real-life situations, for example, poaching endangered animals. It is a really intelligent from him to do this, especially when his books are famous; more people could become aware of these tragic consequences that we cause to the planet. In his website, http://stuartgibbs.com/save-the-world/, he gives people ideas and ways to fund organizations that protect many biomes.

He has a great interest in science, specifically, astronomy. One fun fact about him is that when he was a teenager, he wrote to NASA to become the first teenager in space! However, NASA disagreed with him. He wrote a whole series about science fiction, which is an interesting topic. I am going to talk you through one of my favorite series: the Moon Base Alpha series.

"Waste of Space" Summary:

Waste of Space is the third book from the Moon Base Alpha series. It was launched in 2018. I really intend to talk about this book, partly because it is my favorite from the series, and partly since it has a very good ending that really makes you feel satisfied, not those stories with a disappointing ending. Specifically, its ending talks about how the main characters evolved to the future, how Earth became more environmentally-friendly, where people do not pollute. This is very hard for people, now, or even in the near future, to achieve this state, but it leaves a very interesting thought at the end that I spent hours contemplating on what I read.
In this book, a boy named Dashiell Gibson, had his thirteenth birthday on the moon. It was the year 2041. It was the first time humans colonized the moon. They lived in MBA, short for Moon Base Alpha. Dash was renowned for solving crimes twice ago, the previous two books. Suddenly, Dash hears screaming from rooms away; someone was poisoned! That person, Lars Sjoberg, was a trillionare tourist at the base. Everyone hated his personality; he was the most selfish, audacious, and exasperating person, so everyone could have had a reason for poisoning him. It was the hardest case ever for Dash. How long will it take for him to solve this, furtively, before the person, who actually poisoned Lars, escapes. More obstacles faced him that lead to life-threatening disasters. Dash took very risky steps with his small team to finally achieve his goal.
This book is full of action, adventure, mystery, new ideas, and comedy. I highly recommend you to read this book, well first, read the previous two to have a full understanding of the third book. Even though it is around 320 pages, it is going to be worthwhile. It has a ton of insight throughout the book to make it such a nicely written story. I would rate this book a 5/5!.
